Inspiration: National Hackathon Circular Economy - 2025
How can retailers encourage young people to choose circular options instead of buying new?
That was the central challenge during the 2025 edition of the National Hackathon Circular Economy. In collaboration with Het Goed and Bol.com, students explored what motivates or holds back the next generation when it comes to choosing circular options like second-hand and refurbished products. Supported by inspiring sessions from climate optimist Maartje Bregman and Zero Waste expert Elisah Pals, ideas were refined into solutions that help retailers make circular goods more attractive to young people.
